Foundation is hiring for a junior accounting role based in San Francisco. You will support accounts payable, purchasing, and end-to-end AP processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate records.

You will work closely with engineering, operations and vendors, bringing attention to detail and a willingness to learn our systems. This is a hands-on role with growth potential in a fast-paced startup.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in accounting, accounts payable, or purchasing; junior-level role with training on our systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high-volume AP transactions.
• Knack for understanding PO lifecycles and end-to-end AP workflows.
• Comfort with cross-functional collaboration across engineering, operations and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day general accounting tasks and AP processing.
• Manage purchasing-to-payment cycle to avoid delays and missing docs.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and vendors to protect terms and records.
• Support monthly/quarterly reconciliations and financial close.
