Job summary

Slip Robotics, an early-stage robotics company in Norcross, GA, seeks a hands-on Production Manager to own the assembly floor. You will drive the daily production schedule, lead assembly technicians, and partner with quality, supply chain, and engineering to scale operations.

Qualifications

• minimum 5+ years in production, assembly, or manufacturing operations with 2+ years leading hourly technicians
• hands-on experience running a mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly line
• experience delivering on a production schedule and metrics (throughput, yield, on-time)

Responsibilities

• Own the build: manage daily/weekly production schedule and hit build/ship dates
• Run floor: station staffing, line balancing, and finished goods handoffs
• Track metrics: units built, on-time completion, first-pass yield, labor hours per unit, rework
• Escalate shortages, tooling gaps, and blockers to protect the schedule
• Lead the team: hiring, onboarding, cross-training, and performance expectations
• Own safety: PPE, lockout/tagout, safety walks, incident investigations
• Build quality: in-process and end-of-line sign-offs and containment of defects
• Maintain ERP transactions: work orders, build completions, material consumption
• Support new product introduction: pilot builds and feedback on buildability
