Job summary

Paragon Technologies, in Warren, MI, seeks an experienced electronics technician to repair industrial robotic components and PLCs. You will troubleshoot hardware to board level, solder surface mount and through-hole parts, and assist with basic robotic programming.

The role requires 5+ years of electronics repair, familiarity with Fanuc/Motoman/Allen Bradley/Siemens, ladder logic, and a strong lab skills set. Overtime may be required; valid license and clean background are needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience repairing electronics.
• Must have experience with Fanuc, Motoman, Allen Bradley, and Siemens.
• Must have experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens ladder logic.
• Able to home and perform basic robotic programming.
• Complete understanding of a DDM, oscilloscope, function generator, variable power supplies and other lab test equipment.
• Effective communication and interaction skills needed.
• Excellent organizational skills required.
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record required.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Repair of industrial robotic components and PLC’s.
• Troubleshoot and identify root causes of robotics and electronic failures.
• Troubleshoot electronics to board level components.
• Solder through hole and surface mount components.
• Willing to train entry level technicians.
• Able to use basic hand tools.
• May be required to work overtime (more than 40 hours per week) as business needs dictate.
