Job summary

Paragon Technologies in Warren, MI is seeking a Senior Level Technician to repair industrial robotic components and control systems, troubleshooting PLCs and electronics to restore functionality.

The role emphasizes hands-on diagnostics, lab equipment use, and basic robotic programming; candidates should have experience with ladder logic and be prepared to train entry-level technicians. Hourly compensation is based on experience with solid benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience repairing electronics.
• Experience with Fanuc, Motoman, Allen Bradley, and Siemens.
• Experience with AllenBradley and Siemens ladder logic.
• Able to home and perform basic robotic programming.
• Complete understanding of a DDM, oscilloscope, function generator, variable power supplies and other lab test equipment.
• Effective communication and interaction skills needed.
• Excellent organizational skills required.
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record required.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

• Repair of industrial robotic components and PLC's.


• Troubleshoot and identify root causes of robotics and electronic failures.


• Troubleshoot electronics to board level components.

Additional Skills

• Programming experience with C++ a plus.


• Cable troubleshooting and building a plus.


• Experience with Profibus and CAN bus a plus.
