Job summary

Paragon Technologies, a SunSource company, is seeking a skilled electronics repair technician to service industrial robotics and control systems in Warren, MI. You will diagnose electronics to board level, repair components, and solder SMD/Through-Hole parts. Overtime may be required to meet demand.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of electronics repair experience and familiarity with Fanuc, Motoman, Allen Bradley, and Siemens equipment. Strong communication and organization are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience repairing electronics.
• Experience with Fanuc, Motoman, Allen Bradley and Siemens.
• Able to home and perform basic robotic programming.
• Understanding of lab test equipment: oscilloscope, function generator, DDM and power supplies.

Responsibilities

• Repair of industrial robotic components and PLCs.
• Troubleshoot and identify root causes of robotics and electronic failures.
• Troubleshoot electronics to board level components.
• Solder through hole and surface mount components.
• Willing to train entry level technicians.
• May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate.
