Job summary

Field AI is seeking a Robotics Integration Engineer to bring new robot platforms into our fleet, integrating our control systems, autonomy stack, and payloads onto diverse platforms. The role spans platform abstraction, robot control, autonomy, sim-to-real validation, and electro‑mechanical integration.

You will collaborate with Autonomy/RL, Manipulation, Mechanical, and Electrical teams to drive safe, field-ready deployments and scalable fleet operations across various platform morphologies.

Qualifications

• Education: B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Robotics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3–9 years of experience.
• Hands‑on experience with middleware (ROS/ROS2) and computing languages (Python, C++).
• Robotics software generalist with controls, navigation, and systems integration.

Responsibilities

• Platform integration and controls across robot fleets.
• Cross‑team collaboration with Autonomy/RL, Mechanical, and Electrical teams.
• Safety and infrastructure contributions for field deployment.
• Sim‑to‑Real validation of RL/autonomy on real hardware.
• Multi‑platform support for legged, wheeled, and humanoid robots.
