Job summary

Anvil Robotics seeks a senior hardware leader to take the next robot from concept to mass production. You will drive system architecture, actuation strategy, and manufacturability while coordinating with mechanical and electrical engineers, production teams, and trusted vendors.

You will own DFM, tooling, and production readiness on Anvil's Taipei line, with travel to sites as needed; remote work is possible for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8–10+ years leading hardware for shipped robotics or hardware products.
• Ability to translate requirements into buildable hardware and mass production.
• Experience with manufacturability, tolerances, and vendor engagement.

Responsibilities

• Own the hardware system architecture for the next robot, including materials, actuation, and subassemblies.
• Drive manufacturability from sketch to production, balancing design and production constraints.
• Lead cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver a deployable production-ready platform.
• Represent technical direction and make key boundary decisions across mechanical and electrical work.
