Job summary

HireArt is seeking a Robotics Pilot for an onsite, full-time contract in San Francisco to support data collection for AI and robotics training. You will operate robotic arms, capture and label diverse data, and help maintain lab equipment.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable performing repetitive tasks for extended shifts. Onsite work with strict safety protocols is required.

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks using everyday household items to support robotics model training.
  • Comfort working hands-on with robotics hardware and equipment.

  • Ability to work onsite and follow established equipment and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Operate robotic arms to perform tasks such as sorting, assembling, and moving everyday objects.
  • Capture and label data, including video, sensor readings, and 3D scans, for AI and robotics training.
  • Monitor data quality, identify issues, and communicate findings to the appropriate team members.
  • Maintain lab hardware and equipment while supporting safe and efficient daily operations.

Contract

HireArt is helping a global leader in AI development find Robotics Pilots to support the collection of high-quality data used to train next-generation AI and robotics models.

In this role, you'll work hands-on with robotic arms to perform repetitive manipulation tasks and collect and organize training data. You'll also support engineers and researchers by monitoring data quality, maintaining lab equipment, and helping improve day-to-day data collection processes.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable performing repetitive, hands-on tasks for extended periods. You have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and are able to stay focused and consistent throughout an 8-hour shift.

Available Shifts:

Monday-Friday, 8AM-4:30PM or 4:30PM-1AM

As a Robotics Pilot, you'll:
  • Operate robotic arms to perform tasks such as sorting, assembling, and moving everyday objects.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to wear and carry a 5 lb backpack for up to 8 hours during a shift
  • Ability to perform repetitive, hands-on tasks for extended periods
  • 96 hours of PTO accrued per year at a rate of 1 hour for every 20 hours worked

Commitment

This is a full-time, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. The role is onsite and available to candidates local to the San Francisco, CA area.
