About The Role

We’re hiring a Robotics Operations Specialist to support precision robotics data collection and data labeling in Sunnyvale, Ca. In this role, you’ll operate robotic arms to perform repetitive manipulation tasks while collecting, labeling, and validating high-quality data used to support robotics research and model development. You’ll work in an onsite research environment alongside engineering teams, following defined collection protocols, monitoring data quality, documenting task variations, and identifying anomalies that could impact results. This role is a strong fit for someone who is detail‑oriented, dependable, comfortable with repetitive hands‑on work, and able to maintain a high level of precision and consistency throughout the day.

Responsibilities

Qualifications for Success
Minimum Requirements
  • Experience in precision operations, data collection, quality control, or another environment requiring consistent and detail-oriented work.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to execute repetitive tasks with consistent accuracy.
  • Ability to work closely with engineering teams in a research environment.
  • Self-directed and reliable, with the ability to maintain quality standards with minimal oversight.
  • Adaptability to changing protocols and task requirements in a fast-moving research program.
  • Ability to perform repetitive, hands‑on manipulation tasks for extended periods.
  • Ability to stand and/or move throughout a full shift while operating robotic hardware.
  • Comfort working in close physical proximity to robotic arms and lab equipment.
  • Ability to work onsite in Sunnyvale, California.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in autonomous vehicle operations, robotics, lab operations, or similar technical environments.
  • Familiarity with data annotation or data labeling workflows.
  • Experience working directly with engineering or research teams.
  • Experience with quality control or structured data collection processes.
  • Gaming experience, particularly with strategy or simulation genres.
Compensation & Logistics
  • Pay: $28.00 per hour
  • Location: Sunnyvale, California
  • Work setup: Onsite
  • Schedule: Full time
  • Available shifts: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
  • Physical requirements: Repetitive hands‑on manipulation tasks for extended periods; ability to stand and/or move throughout a full shift while operating robotic hardware; comfort working in close proximity to robotic arms and lab equipment.
