HireArt, Inc. is helping a client hire a Robotics Operation Specialist in Sunnyvale, CA to execute precise manipulation data collection and label data to accelerate the research pipeline.

You will work at the intersection of physical operations and data quality, performing repetitive, hands-on tasks with high consistency and collaborating closely with engineering teams in a fast-moving research environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in precision operations, data collection, or quality control, with AV operations, lab operations, or similar environments preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to execute repetitive tasks with consistent accuracy.
• Ability to work closely with engineering teams in a research environment.
• Self-directed and reliable, with the ability to maintain quality standards with minimal oversight.
• Adaptability to changing protocols and task requirements in a fast-moving research program.

Responsibilities

• Execute robotic arm manipulation tasks according to defined protocols, maintaining consistency and precision across collection sessions.
• Label and annotate collected manipulation data to support engineering analysis and model development.
• Coordinate with the engineering team to understand task requirements, flag anomalies, and ensure data quality standards are met.
• Maintain accurate records of collection sessions, task variations, and any observed issues.
• Adapt to evolving task protocols as the research program develops.

HireArt is helping our client hire a Robotics Operation Specialist to execute precision manipulation data collection and perform data labeling to accelerate the research pipeline.

In this role, you'll sit at the intersection of physical operations and data quality, requiring both the precision to execute consistent manipulation tasks and the attention to detail to accurately label and validate collected data.

The ideal candidate has experience in precision operations, data collection, or quality control and is comfortable performing repetitive, hands-on tasks with a high degree of consistency. You're detail-oriented, reliable, adaptable, and comfortable working closely with engineering teams in a fast-moving research environment.

As a Robotics Operation Specialist, you'll:

• Execute robotic arm manipulation tasks according to defined protocols, maintaining consistency and precision across collection sessions.
• Label and annotate collected manipulation data to support engineering analysis and model development.
• Coordinate with the engineering team to understand task requirements, flag anomalies, and ensure data quality standards are met.

Nice-to-Have:

• Prior experience in autonomous vehicle operations or robotics environments
• Familiarity with data annotation or labeling workflowsExperience working directly with engineering or research teams
• Gaming experience, particularly with strategy or simulation genres

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform repetitive, hands-on manipulation tasks for extended periods
• Ability to stand and/or move throughout a full shift while operating robotic hardware
• Comfort working in close physical proximity to robotic arms and lab equipment
