Albany Medical Center is seeking a Physician Assistant to join the busy Perioperative Surgical team. The role offers hands-on exposure to robotic technology and collaboration with surgeons across multiple specialties at our Albany campus.

Qualified candidates must hold a PA license in New York (or NP with RNFA training) and possess ACLS/BLS certification, with strong communication and teamwork skills. A competitive benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant degree program or Master’s in Nursing with RNFA training.
• Licensed and registered as PA or NP in New York State; HIPAA compliant.
• ACLS/BLS certification; strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative care for surgical patients.
• Assist surgeons during robotic and traditional procedures across multiple specialties.
• Perform first- and second-assist duties in the operating room.
• Collaborate with perioperative staff to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Maintain documentation and participate in quality improvement efforts.
