Job summary

LeJeune Steel Company in Barronett, WI is seeking a Robotic Operator – SPS System to support operations and basic maintenance for robotics in sorting and quality checks of structural steel components. Qualifications

• Knowledge of structural steel fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move heavy steel components.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a safety-conscious mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate and load/unload steel components into the robotics system.
• Understand machine operation to run the robotic system for short periods.
• Coordinate with planning and other departments to sort parts by area.
• Ensure accuracy of storage bins and update part locations.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance on robotic systems.
• Inspect rejected parts and communicate fixes.
• Ensure parts bins are accurate before delivery.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear PPE.
• Coordinate bin movements using RFID and software.
• Review prints in Tekla EPM Go and coordinate with robot operator.
• Safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts, or other equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance including cleaning, lubrication, part replacement.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineers, and fabricators.
• Communicate production challenges effectively.
