Job summary

LeJeune Steel Company is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong focus on robotic and electrical systems. The role involves troubleshooting, ordering parts, and repairing welding rigs, robotic equipment, overhead cranes, and other shop machinery to keep production flowing.

Candidate will perform routine maintenance, coordinate with internal teams, and travel to the Thorp facility as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical training or certifications in robotics or electrical engineering desirable.
• Hands-on experience with robotic and electrical systems.
• Willingness to travel to the Thorp facility as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair robotic and electrical machinery used in the steel fabrication process.
• Troubleshoot, order parts, and repair welding rigs, machines, robotic equipment, overhead cranes and other shop equipment.
• Coordinate with Production Management to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime; ensure safe operations.
• Utilize CMMS to document work orders, downtime, and maintenance history; support capital expenditure planning.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.
