Job summary

LeJeune Steel Company is seeking a motivated Machine Operator to program, set up, and operate various CNC machines at our Barronett facility in Wisconsin. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, calibrating tools, and ensuring high-quality output. The role requires knowledge of oxy-fuel and plasma cutting, plus lean manufacturing fundamentals.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in oxy-fuel and plasma cutting.
• Basic LEAN manufacturing knowledge or ability to obtain 5-S certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Processes material to specifications and coordinates with production control.
• Program equipment including zero and reference points, setting tool registers and offsets.
• Operates overhead hoists to position materials to be processed.
• Completes regular calibrations and verifies machine accuracy during processing.
• Maintains safety by following procedures and regulations.
• Performs quality control checks on finished products.
