Responsibilities

  • Unit Load (Robot) operations with WinCC and adjustments.
  • Respond to alarms and clear jams.
  • Load/maintain pallet de-stacker according to procedures.
  • Maintain strapper: change rolls and adjust tension.
  • Maintain hooder: change rolls and adjust tension.
  • Maintain labeler: change label rolls and printing ribbons.
  • Clear jams on labels.
  • Optimize machine operations to production needs.
  • Actively troubleshoot equipment and machines.
  • Prepare for product change in advance of production.
  • Notify Lead Hand or Supervisor of problems.
  • Communicate any unusual conditions, equipment breakdowns or repair needs.
  • Complete shutdown tasks per shutdown procedures or checklists.
  • Maintain a clean safe workplace.
  • Work in a safe manner and follow all established safety rules.
  • Inform next shift of problems or tasks.
