SSW Advanced Technologies is seeking a diligent Robot Operator for the 2nd shift in Clinton, IA. You will set up and operate welding/ brazing equipment and robots, ensuring parts meet quality standards while adhering to safety protocols.

The role involves learning to troubleshoot machinery, performing quality checks, and maintaining a clean, organized work area. Overtime may be required, with a focus on producing reliable, high-quality parts for our appliance industry customers.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and calipers.
• Accurate measuring and math skills.
• Advanced knowledge of required measuring tools.
• Must have verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow directions accurately.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• The 2nd Shift Robot Operator will set up, operate, or tend welding, soldering, or brazing machines or robots.
• Perform all duties in a safe manner and produce parts to quality standards.
• Interact professionally with other employees and customers.
• Work overtime as necessary and maintain equipment.
• Learn to troubleshoot machines and tooling and to identify unsatisfactory tooling.
• Perform and document required quality checks of parts produced.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area per 5S procedures.
