Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance Team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the building. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment while ensuring safety and documentation adherence.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in MHE repair, predictive maintenance, and reading blueprints/electrical schematics, plus CMMS

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in repair of material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyor systems and controls.
• 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• 1+ years reading blueprint and electrical schematics.
• 1+ years knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
• Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project, with ability to create and manage documents.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Create, assign, and close out work orders with data including labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
• Mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.
