Job summary

Amazon in Dallas, TX is seeking a permanent, full-time Mechatronics & Robotics Apprentice. You will learn to combine electronic, mechanical, computer and control skills while working on high-performance packaging systems.

The role emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement to maximise equipment availability. You will be mentored by senior technicians, work with robotics and automated equipment, and support installation, maintenance, and repair efforts across multiple

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to relocate after program completion.
• Ability to enroll in a 12-week training program.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative/predictive maintenance of conveyance equipment using job plans and manuals.
• Maintain and repair distribution center racking.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines and documentation.
• Track department inventory including spare parts.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships across the organization.
• Conduct maintenance and basic troubleshooting of robotics and work cells.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to material handling equipment components.
• Assist mentoring junior technicians.
