Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of engineering experience and a track record in mechanical systems development.
  • Experience with 3D modeling, SolidWorks preferred.
  • Familiarity with ANSYS or SolidWorks Simulation for FEM analyses.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test electromechanical systems for robotic applications.
  • Conceptualize to prototype development using engineering design processes.
  • Model, analyze, and simulate electromechanical assemblies.
  • Create CAD models and drawings of electromechanical systems.
  • Assemble subsystems, perform light fabrication, and integrate components.
  • Conduct electromechanical system tests and document results.
  • Travel to support field experiments and off-site tests.
  • Engage with customers and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors.
