Job summary

Miso Robotics in Los Angeles is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to deploy Flippy robotic kitchen systems and enhance deployment reliability in live restaurant environments.

You will own mechanical design tasks, CAD modeling, and collaboration with product, operations, and sales teams across the full development lifecycle. A BS in Mechanical Engineering and 4–7 years’ deployment-focused experience are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 4–7 years designing, building and testing mechanical systems or robots with deployment focus.
• Experience delivering products from design to support.
• Proficiency in CAD, drawing creation, and assemblies.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and rapid prototyping.

Responsibilities

• Define hardware requirements and perform system-level design trades.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and testing teams for deployment.
• Develop and validate mechanical subsystems and CAD models for live deployment.
• Create and maintain CAD drawings, BOMs, and ECOs in Arena PLM.
• Support cross-functional teams including Operations and Sales during deployment.
