Teledyne FLIR Defense seeks a strong Mechanical Engineer to design world‑class robotic systems for military, law enforcement and first responder missions. You will craft mechanical architectures for electromechanical assemblies, develop 3D CAD models, and contribute to testing and validation across cross‑functional teams.

You will set up and analyze tests, drive root‑cause resolution, and support the integration of rugged unmanned ground systems with electrical, software, and manufacturing

Competenze

• BSME or higher from an accredited college or university.
• 5+ years of experience developing electromechanical systems.
• Experience with 3D CAD and mechanical design best practices.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to work on multiple projects.

Mansioni

• Apply mechanical engineering knowledge to analysis, development, design, integration, testing, and production of unmanned ground systems.
• Investigate and resolve mechanical issues; apply ASME GD&T standards.
• Develop mechanical layouts and detailed part design using 3D CAD.
• Support root cause analysis and rapid resolution of design problems.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, systems, manufacturing, and operations teams.
