Job summary

Amazon Robotics is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician II to oversee installation and maintenance of industrial equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and control systems in a high-volume facility.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, safety, and collaboration with production teams. Location in North Reading, MA, with shift differential and full benefits for regular employment.

Qualifications

• Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments.

Responsibilities

• Keep a facility operating and repair problems before they worsen.
• Perform a wide range of repair tasks around a facility.
• Install new equipment, read blueprints, and procure replacement parts for repairs.
• Service and maintain equipment including motors, conveyors, transmission systems, and production-related equipment.
• Disassemble/reassemble equipment and replace worn parts; troubleshoot hydraulics and pneumatics.
