Job summary

Virtual Incision is seeking a Manufacturing & Process Engineer to join the Operations team onsite in Lincoln, NE. You will design, prototype, test, and implement manufacturing processes for miniature robotic systems, driving quality, yield, and efficiency improvements.

You will partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Operations to support production, new product introductions, and design transfers in a fast-paced, highly regulated setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• 1–4 years of manufacturing/process engineering experience.
• Proficient in reading engineering drawings and specs.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with statistics and process improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment.
• Support design transfer and manufacturing readiness for new products.
• Create and validate production process controls and validations.
• Perform IQ/OQ/PQ qualification activities and documentation.
• Analyze processes using DMAIC, Cp/Cpk, and SPC.
• Drive process improvements to improve quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Ops.
• Work with suppliers for equipment and tooling development.
• Support risk assessments including FMEA.
• Ensure compliance with QMS and regulatory standards.
