Qualifications

• BS in mechanical engineering; MS preferred.
• 5-7 years in process/manufacturing with automated systems.
• Electrical/controls background is a plus.
• Strong communication with technicians, engineers, and leadership.
• Experience with process capability analyses (cpk, SPC).
• Experience designing automated production equipment.
• Proven project leadership and launching manufacturing into production.
• Experience managing suppliers to timelines and deliverables.
• CAD proficiency, SolidWorks preferred.
• Role is 100% onsite in Sunnyvale, CA; travel ~30%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of engineers to develop, implement, and sustain advanced manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Collaborate with international teams to deliver product in a high volume environment.
• Design and develop next generation manufacturing architecture for automation.
• Create, maintain and improve high-volume assembly lines; refine BOMs and work instructions.
• Apply automation and robot manufacturing experience to ensure yield, MTBF, MTTR, and OEE targets.
• Validate equipment designs using simulations and 프로토타입 testing.
• Lead design for manufacturing and tolerance analysis with cross-functional teams.
• Manage supplier relationships and project budgets; drive cost reductions and schedules.
