Job summary

Scale AI, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Robotics Lab Specialist in San Francisco to support daily operations, maintain robots and collection hardware, and coordinate data collection activities. This onsite role offers exposure to cutting-edge robotics and autonomy topics within Scale's robotics laboratory.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in hardware labs, hands-on robotics/AI/vision experience, and strong project management skills, with a focus on safety and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, Mathematics or equivalent.
• 5+ years in hardware labs or manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on robotics, AI, and/or computer vision experience.
• Experience managing risk and operating robots safely.
• Strong project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Bring up and maintain robots and collection hardware in the Lab.
• Manage physical inventory and equipment, coordinate logistics.
• Provide technical support for data collection operations.
