Apex Systems is seeking Robotics Lab Operators for a contract role in San Francisco, CA. The position supports data collection in a Robotics Lab and involves routine tests, data capture, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Shifts include Morning 6:30am–2:30pm and Swing/Night shifts with pay between $24 and $30 per hour; on-site requirement is five days per week. The role is 90 days with a strong likelihood of extension.

Qualifications

• Experience in a lab, warehouse, or manufacturing environment is helpful but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Comfortable standing and being active for most of your shift.

Our client, a leader in the AI space, is looking for Robotics Lab Operators for ongoing contract roles. This role is at least a 90 day commitment, with the strong likelihood of extension!

This role requires 5 days on site in San Francisco, CA!

Shifts & Pay

Morning Shift (6:30am–2:30pm) Sat-Tues (C): $27/hr pay

Swing Shift (2:30pm–10:30pm) Mon-Fri (A): $24/hr pay

Swing Shift (2:30pm–10:30pm) Wed-Sun (B): $24/hr pay

Swing Shift (2:30pm–10:30pm) Sat-Tues (C): $27/hr pay

Night Shift (10:30pm–6:30am) Mon-Fri (A): $27/hr pay

Night Shift (10:30pm–6:30am) Sat-Tues (C): $30/hr pay

Job Description:

As a Lab Operator, you’ll play a key role in supporting data collection in our Robotics Lab. You’ll work closely with the Lab Operations team to perform routine tests, collect data, and help maintain a clean and safe environment—all critical for our research, development, and quality assurance efforts.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate robots and follow clear, step-by-step data collection tasks
• Use a tablet to guide and record simple movements or routines
• Keep the workspace clean, organized, and safe
• Assist with equipment setup and moving as needed
• Follow instructions and communicate with team members and leaders
• Complete required safety training and adhere to lab safety procedures

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in a lab, warehouse, or manufacturing environment is helpful but not required

Physical & Work Environment:

• Ability to stand and move around for extended periods
• Ability to lift or carry up to 25 pounds
• Frequent use of both arms and hands to handle equipment and controls
• Standard lab environment (moderate noise, clean workspace)
