Job summary

Machina Labs in Chatsworth, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Cell Technician / Operator to support our robotic manufacturing environment. You will operate manufacturing equipment, load and position panels, and follow documented processes to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable around automated equipment, collaborating with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams to resolve issues and drive

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, machining, assembly or similar industrial setting preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and documentation.
• Comfort around automated machinery and robotic equipment.
• Commitment to safety and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate machinery and production equipment.
• Load, unload, position, align, and secure panels and components.
• Verify material, tooling, fixtures, setup, and orientation before production.
• Follow work instructions, routers, travelers, and SOPs.
• Monitor equipment and identify alarms or defects.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting.
• Complete production and quality documentation with traceability.
• Support 5S, Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams.
