Job summary

Kruger Family Industries is seeking an Electrical/Maintenance Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair and program electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electronic components on manufacturing equipment. You will install wiring, diagnose malfunctions, service robots and programmable controllers, and support conveyors and automation systems.

Candidates should have a college or technical certificate (or seven years related experience), knowledge of robotics and PLC controllers, and current

Qualifications

Certificate from college or technical school; or seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must maintain current knowledge of state and local electrical codes.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

Responsibilities

Read and understand descriptive job duties pertaining to preventive and predictive maintenance.
Operate, diagnose, and repair support systems such as refrigeration, HVAC, Vacuum and air compressors.
Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers.
Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment and connects cables and wires between machines and equipment.
Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables.
