Job summary

Savannah Technical College is hiring a full-time Industrial Maintenance/Robotics & Automation Instructor for the Savannah Campus to deliver lectures and labs, plan lessons, advise students, and manage registrations. The role may involve travel across campuses and flexible teaching schedules, including day and evening classes.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's Degree in Industrial Systems Technology or related field and at least five years of hands-on experience, with strong communication

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Industrial Systems Technology or related field and a minimum of five years of documented work experience in the Industrial Systems field.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Instructs students and evaluates progress in classroom and lab settings.
• Advises and counsels students, and assists with registration.
• Recruits new students into the Industrial Systems Technology Program and supports retention.
• Ensures accreditation, safety, and compliance in classroom and lab environments.
• Maintains student records, reports, and inventories; submits information to internal/external departments.
• Serves on committees or collaborates with other departments and projects.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by the Dean of Industrial Technology.
