Job summary

Savannah Technical College seeks a full-time Industrial Maintenance/Robotics & Automation Instructor at its Savannah Campus to teach students in classroom and lab settings. The role includes lecture planning, student advisement, enrollment support, and program development in Industrial Systems Technology.

Qualifications include an Associate's Degree in Industrial Systems Technology and 5+ years of hands-on experience; strong communication skills; and a commitment to safety and accreditation

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Industrial Systems Technology or related field and 5+ years of practical experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to teach in classroom and lab settings.

Responsibilities

• Teach Industrial Maintenance/Robotics & Automation courses in classroom and lab environments.
• Plan lectures, develop lesson plans, and assess student progress.
• Advise students and assist with registration and course planning.
• Recruit new students into the Industrial Systems Technology Program and support retention.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and safety requirements in all teaching spaces.
