Job summary

Amazon Robotics is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead hardware application development and deployment from concept to production. The role coordinates among System teams, Deployment, Supply Chain, and customer-facing groups, driving design, release, and tooling for scalable automation solutions.

The ideal candidate has strong program management, problem-solving, and communication skills with experience guiding cross-functional teams through complex hardware initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
• 5+ years of analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentations experience.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
• Experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management.

Responsibilities

• Application Development and Integration: Own application development and integration with perception, solutions, and workcell teams; Drive design and release tracking across the product lifecycle; Develop Functional Requirement Documents for programs based on Product Requirements.
• Vendor Management: Partner with vendors on documentation packages, testing, and process development; Ensure on time delivery and quality standards are met.
• Deployment and Field Operations: Partner with deployment teams on total system deployment; Lead improvements of robotic systems for scaling in the field; Design and release support tools for operations, manufacturing, test and field teams.
• Program Execution: Execute Test Engineering, Regulatory Compliance, and Functional Safety planning and delivery; Manage production and build planning activities; Develop and maintain costing roadmaps; Serve as main interface with Supply Chain and Purchasing teams; Lead unified delivery of cross functional projects; Develop hardware schedules.
• Cross Functional Leadership: Interact with Systems & SW Engineering, Operations, and other stakeholders; Drive consensus on technical decisions; Drive teamwork and commitment across groups; Coordinate HW disciplines.
• Risk and Project Management: Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks; Create and disseminate project information to stakeholders.
