Qualifications

• 3–4 years of Python or scripting experience for test automation and data analysis.
• Experience testing embedded Linux, cameras, robotics, or connected hardware.
• Ability to build and automate physical test fixtures and measurement.
• Knowledge of Linux diagnostics, networking, and system performance tools.
• Skill in designing repeatable experiments and isolating root causes of failures.

Responsibilities

• Build automated hardware tests verifying recording quality, performance, and recovery.
• Test long recording sessions and fault conditions (power loss, disconnects, full storage).
• Check recorded data for missing frames, timestamps, and corruption.
• Reproduce failures, isolate root causes with engineers, and create regression tests.
• Define release checks and qualification tests across hardware/software configurations.
