Job summary

Path Robotics is seeking a Hardware Technician in Columbus, OH to build and test cutting-edge hardware for AI-driven robotic systems. You’ll work hands-on with mechanical, robotic, and electrical assemblies, reporting to the Operations Manager and collaborating with hardware engineers to improve processes and feedback.

You will lift up to 50 pounds, support 5S, and travel about 35% domestically and internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in design, assembly, and troubleshooting of mechanical & electrical systems (nice to have Polyworks and/or FARO experience)
• Detail oriented and have experience working with small and fragile components
• Passionate about what you do and enjoy working in a collaborative environment
• Eager to learn and grow in your field with a continuous improvement mindset
• Ok with working in the gray and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities

Responsibilities

• Lead build & deployment of AI integrated robotic weld cells
• Assembly of mechanical, robotic, & electrical systems
• Light duty fabrication of test parts (cut/bend/drill/weld)
• General facility requests and 5s
