Job summary

Wayve is seeking a Robotics Generalist in Sunnyvale, CA to ensure integration and evaluation of autonomous driving software across new vehicle platforms. The role emphasizes rapid problem-solving, cross-functional teamwork, and hands-on work on-site with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Experience with data-driven development, including defining metrics, building tooling, and performing data analysis.
• Core Robotics Expertise: strong background in control systems, state estimation (including odometry and localization), and sensor fusion.
• Programming in C++ and Python.
• System Thinking: strong robotics system thinking enabling quick diagnosis and resolution of complex integration issues.
• Location/Travel: willing to travel domestically and internationally; based in Sunnyvale, CA.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead vehicle generalization benchmark evaluation and metrics tooling.
• Dive deep into variabilities with different platforms and paint a bigger picture for the generalization metrics story.
• Cross-functional Collaboration with OEM support engineering, measurement, and controls.
• Provide on-the-ground technical support enabling the autonomy stack for key customer programs, including travel.
