Job summary

Amazon is seeking an SDE Intern to help shape the next generation of robotic systems. You will write firmware, tests, and tooling for robotic platforms and collaborate across embedded, electrical, mechanical, and safety teams to deliver impactful solutions.

You will work in a cross-functional environment at Amazon Robotics, contributing to evolving autonomy, perception, and control software used in fulfillment ops at scale. This internship emphasizes ownership and hands-on impact.

Qualifications

• Experience with data structure implementation, basic algorithm development, and/or object-oriented design principles.
• Demonstrated experience with at least one Embedded programming language such as C, C++ or Rust.

Responsibilities

• Assist firmware team in writing code, scripts, and tests for robotic systems.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary engineers to take concepts to production, including prototyping, validation, testing, and certification.
• Contribute to technical documentation and code reviews.
• Build and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant robotic systems.
