Job summary

Amazon is seeking an SDE intern/co-op in Massachusetts to help design, build, and operate scalable software across robotics and cloud services. You’ll work with modern tech, from distributed systems to AI-enhanced tools, in an environment that rewards ownership and fast learning.

You will be mentored by experienced Amazonians, work on impactful projects, and gain exposure to robotics, computer vision, and machine learning within a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or related STEM fields
• Experience with at least one general-purpose programming language such as Java, Python, C++, C#, Go, Rust, or TypeScript
• Experience with data structure implementation, basic algorithm development, and/or object-oriented design principles

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary Amazonians to design, build, and operate innovative products and services
• Design and develop scalable solutions using cloud-native architectures and microservices
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
• Build and maintain resilient distributed systems that are scalable and cost-effective
• Leverage GenAI and AI-powered tools to enhance development productivity
