August Robotics Ltd. is hiring a Robotics Field Technician to deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain robotic systems at customer sites across the US. You will work at the intersection of engineering, operations, and customer success, ensuring reliable robot performance and successful deployments in real-world environments.

Travel up to 3 weeks per month is required. You will collaborate with a global team, gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge robots, and contribute to continuous product

August Robotics is an international startup building application-specific robots that automate business workflows. We are a global team with offices in the US, Germany, Australia, Hong Kong, and China, backed by leading VC investors.

We design and deploy robotic solutions across construction, exhibition, and industrial environments and continue to scale our global operations.

THE ROLE

As a Robotics Field Technician, you will deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain robotic systems on customer sites across the US. Working at the intersection of engineering, operations, and customer success, you will help ensure reliable robot performance and successful deployments in real-world environments.

Core responsibilities include:

• Independently deploy, operate, and support robotic systems on customer sites
• Provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to clients and partners
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs both in the field and at the workshop
• Monitor robot performance and ensure successful execution on job sites
• Collect customer feedback and work with internal teams to improve product features
• Troubleshoot and repair the robots with support from the engineering team to ensure operational readiness
• Support a wide range of technical and operational tasks as needed

YOUR SKILLS

What we are looking for:

• A technical/mechanical background and university degree or diploma from a higher vocational school in Engineering, Mechanics, or a related discipline
• Basic understanding or strong interest in programming, Linux, and control systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Hands‑on mindset with comfort working on physical hardware systems
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with customers
• High level of ownership and accountability
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to perform light physical activity

You must have:

• Eligibility to work in the US
• Valid driver’s license
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Willingness to travel as required (up to 3 week per month)

Nice to have:

• 1 to 2 years experience in an engineering or technical role
• Experience working in a startup or fast‑paced environment
• Exposure to project‑based work
