Job summary

Beyondsoft is seeking a Robotics Field Engineer to support deployments at Cedar Rapids, IA and Sandston, VA. The role involves working with client systems engineers, logistics teams, and other field engineers to deploy and support robots in data centers.

Expect hands-on development, data collection, analysis, and post-deployment activities. You will lead risk assessments, provide operator training, troubleshoot complex configurations, and collaborate across teams to ensure safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or equivalent
• Experience with Linux command line and basic troubleshooting of software/hardware configurations
• Strong time management in fast-paced environments

Responsibilities

• Perform risk assessments and mitigation recommendations
• Train robotics operators and maintenance personnel on safe operation
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety in robotics deployment
• Service robotics equipment to minimize downtime and maintain operations
• Provision and reposition robotics equipment across data centers as needed
