Job summary

Rhoda AI is seeking a Field Deployment Lead for the US to own end-to-end robot deployments: site prep and installation through commissioning, FAT/SAT sign-off, and transition to steady-state operations from our Remote Operations Center (ROC).

The role includes on-site leadership across multiple sites, developing runbooks, training operators, and managing local service partners, with international travel and an Oct 2026 start.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Robotics or related field.
• 5+ years in industrial robotics deployment, commissioning, or field engineering.
• Hands-on electro-mechanical troubleshooting with multimeter, oscilloscope, and working with VFDs/PLCs.
• Proven FAT/SAT experience at industrial customer sites.
• Linux CLI proficiency; basic Python scripts; Docker familiarity.
• ROS or ROS2 experience, or equivalent industrial automation background with willingness to learn ROS2 quickly.
• Strong documentation habits; write runbooks, SOPs, and handover docs.
• Available to start in October 2026 or sooner.
• Authorized to work in the United States; valid passport and travel 70%+.

Responsibilities

• Own site preparation, robot installation, system integration, and commissioning at new customer sites.
• Lead on-site technical troubleshooting during commissioning and bring-up for robots and integrated systems.
• Lead FAT and SAT sign-off with customer teams and ensure readiness before handover.
• Coordinate deployment timelines with cross-functional teams and manage site-specific permits and risks.
• Document configurations and site adaptations for each deployment.
• Design and implement operational runbooks and escalation procedures.
• Train and onboard contract operators and manage local service partners.
• Capture field learnings and feed insights to engineering and success teams.
• Develop maintenance procedures and spare parts processes.
