Job summary

Veracity Ventures Inc. in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking a Robotics Engineering Lead to own automation from concept to production, integrating cobots and AMRs on the factory floor. You will personally program, integrate, and commission systems while mentoring engineers and technicians to deliver robust robotic solutions.

This hands-on technical leadership role emphasizes safety, end-to-end delivery, and collaboration across teams, with relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years in industrial automation or robotics with live production deployment.
• Hands-on programming and integration of cobots and AMRs with end-effectors and vision.
• Experience with cobot simulation and offline programming for layout validation.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize automation candidates, building a business and technical case.
• Design, program, integrate, and commission cobots for assembly, handling, machine tending, inspection, and test.
• Deploy AMRs for material movement with route planning and fleet coordination.
• Own end-to-end delivery: requirements, concept design, simulation, build, FAT/SAT, validation, hand-off.
• Integrate robots, sensors, vision and end-effectors with existing equipment and lines.
• Serve as hands-on technical lead: set standards, review designs, mentor teammates.
• Evaluate vendors, run pilots, scale proven technologies.
• Collaborate with safety teams to meet ISO safety standards before go-live.
• Develop documentation, run-books, and training for operations.
