Job summary

Cobot is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design, integration, and debugging of cutting-edge robots at our Santa Clara, CA headquarters. You will drive system reliability and collaborate with mechanical, software, firmware, and manufacturing teams to bring designs from prototype to production.

With 5+ years in electrical design, you will own component selection, schematic capture, and PCB layout, and contribute to testing methodologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
5+ years of professional experience in electrical design and execution.
Experience with component selection, schematic capture, and PCB layout for custom boards.
Strong debugging and testing of complex electrical designs; SI/PI knowledge.
Willing to travel occasionally and require US work authorization.

Responsibilities

Drive electrical design and integration for robotic systems.
Collaborate with mechanical, software, firmware, and manufacturing teams to debug full system designs.
Develop testing and validation methodologies for electrical systems.
Engage with partner teams from component selection to PCB layout and system bring-up.
