Job summary

Fives DyAG Corp. in Wixom, MI is seeking a Robot Engineer / Programmer to join our manufacturing automation team. The candidate will work across FANUC, ABB, or Kuka systems, performing advanced programming, vision setup, and I/O configuration to support production.

Ideal applicants have 2+ years in robotics, can read electrical/pneumatic prints, and are proficient in programming languages such as VB, C, or C++. Willingness to travel up to 75% is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of robotics experience.
• Able to read electrical and pneumatic prints.
• FANUC iRVision experience preferred.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in robotic path teaching.
• Understanding Cartesian frames for EOAT.
• Vision systems experience helpful.
• Basic/intermediate programming in VB/C/C++.
• PLC troubleshooting beneficial.
• Willing to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Write robot software and load programs with I/O configuration.
• Perform path teaching and vision teaching as needed.
• Create robotic simulations where appropriate.
• Provide debug support with the team.
• Assist with installation start-up and production support.
• Set up and maintain robot communications and protocols.
