The role leads robot startups, coordinates installation services, and mentors junior engineers while communicating with customers and project managers to keep projects on schedule and meet safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience developing robot programs from reference designs and company templates.
• Ability to integrate robots with PLC, safety, and vision systems following safety standards.
• Experience leading robot startups and coordinating installation services.
• Ability to assist Controls Engineers with PLC/HMI programming.
• Experience training field service staff and onboarding junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Follow established safety practices and raise safety concerns to senior engineers.
• Integrate robots with PLC, safety, and vision systems per standards.
• Develop robot programs for standard applications to meet project schedules.
• Create robot cell simulations and offline programs for validation.
• Lead robot startups and coordinate installation services to resolve punch-list items.
• Support PLC and HMI programming during builds and upgrades.
• Instruct Field Service Engineers and answer technical questions.
• Communicate with customers and project managers while managing multiple projects.
