Job summary

HIWIN Corporation is seeking a Robotics Engineer to design, assemble, and test robotic systems used in our products and customer applications. This onsite role in Huntley, IL focuses on hands-on development and real‑world automation solutions.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in robotics or related engineering field and 1–2 years of robotics/automation experience, with CAD skills and basic programming knowledge. Relocation not offered; remote work not available.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in robotics, electrical, or mechanical engineering or related field.
1–2 years of robotics, automation, or electromechanical experience preferred (internships/co-ops acceptable).
Foundational knowledge of robotic systems and basic programming or controls concepts.
Familiarity with CAD tools (SolidWorks) and motion control systems.

Responsibilities

Design, assemble, and test robotic systems, including end effectors and control systems.
Assist with data gathering and BOMs for proposals.
Collaborate on system integration and simulations using CAD/robotic software.
Contribute to lab testing, prototype development, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
Prepare technical documentation and support product improvements and customer solutions.
