Job summary

Cube Hub Inc. in Florida seeks an experienced Robotics Engineer to lead programming and automation for investment casting grinding and finishing. You will develop, validate, and optimize ABB RAPID-based robotic programs to improve safety, quality, and productivity.

You will collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and maintenance to deliver reliable automation, support NPI and production readiness, and provide technical guidance on equipment installation, commissioning, and validation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience in investment casting manufacturing.
Hands-on ABB RAPID programming experience.
Experience with robotic grinding or automated finishing operations.
Knowledge of PLCs and ladder logic.
Strong understanding of manufacturing automation, process development, process control, and continuous improvement.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, customer specifications, and technical documentation.
Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and troubleshoot problems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Develop, program, validate, approve, and maintain robotic programs for shell and ACME grinding operations.
Program and troubleshoot ABB robotic systems using RAPID.
Optimize robotic grinding processes, tooling strategies, and process parameters.
Ensure manufacturing processes meet internal standards and customer specs.
Monitor process performance, investigate issues, and implement corrective actions.
Support new product introduction, process development, and production readiness.
Provide technical support for capital equipment and automation projects.
Develop technical requirements and specifications for new robotic and automated equipment.
Collaborate with multiple teams to resolve technical issues and improve processes.
Analyze process data and drive continuous improvement focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
