Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience programming ABB robots in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with RAPID and RobotStudio.
• Familiarity with RobotWare and ABB controller software.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and troubleshoot robot programs using ABB RAPID.
• Use ABB RobotStudio for offline programming, simulation, path development, and collision checking.
• Set up and adjust robot positions, motion paths, and tool center points.
• Operate the ABB FlexPendant to teach positions, edit programs, and review alarms.
• Configure robot communication with PLCs, sensors, grippers, fixtures, and other equipment.
• Diagnose programming errors and controller faults; optimize movements to reduce cycle times.
• Support installation, commissioning, and production trials for robotic processes.
• Maintain backups, revision records, and setup instructions.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, production, and quality teams; train operators.
