Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Robotics Engineer to design, build, and integrate software powering autonomous robots. This is a 100% remote US-based role, full-time, direct W2, with a salary of $70,000–$100,000 per year.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in robotics software, strong C++ and Python, and hands-on ROS/ROS2, perception, localization, motion planning, sensor fusion, and real-time systems. Collaboration across product, design, engineering, operations, and business is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Five or more years of robotics software engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Hands-on experience with ROS or ROS 2 in production projects.
• Solid experience with at least one of perception, localization, motion planning, or control.
• Familiarity with sensor fusion and Kalman/particle filter techniques.
• Experience with simulation environments (Gazebo, Isaac Sim, MuJoCo).
• Strong debugging skills in real-time and concurrent systems.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience supporting field tests and hardware integration.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Robotics Engineer to design, build, and integrate software systems that power autonomous robots and robotic platforms. In this role you will work across the full robotics software stack, from low-level sensor integration and motion planning to high-level perception and behavioral systems. The ideal candidate will combine strong software engineering fundamentals with deep working knowledge of robotics frameworks, real-time systems, and sensor fusion. In this role you will work closely with cross-functional partners — product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders — to translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions, and will be expected to raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship of more junior engineers. The successful candidate brings strong engineering discipline, a clear communication style, and a track record of shipping meaningful work that holds up well in production.
