Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our distributed teams remotely in the United States. You will lead cross-team efforts, design scalable cloud-based systems, and mentor engineers while delivering high-impact software solutions.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience, a proven track record in building large-scale data systems or cloud platforms, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Eight or more years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven track record of leading complex, cross-team engineering initiatives.
• Deep expertise in at least one of distributed systems, cloud platforms, or large-scale data systems.
• Strong programming skills in at least one major backend language.
• Excellent system-design and architecture skills.
• Demonstrated mentorship and technical leadership of senior engineers.
• Strong understanding of operational excellence, reliability, and observability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Title: Staff Software Engineer

Location: 100% Remote (U.S.)

Position Type: Full-time, Direct W2

Salary Range: $100,000–$180,000 Annually

Experience Required: 8+ years

Required Qualifications

• Exposure to building engineering organizations as well as platforms.
• Familiarity with FinOps and cost-aware engineering practices.
