Job summary

Entegee is seeking a robotics automation engineer in Rock Island, IL to lead robotic integration projects. You will design mechanical tooling and fixturing, and manage projects end-to-end from quoting through run-off while engaging directly with customers for technical support.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in automation, solid CAD skills, and experience with welding or material handling robotic applications. Travel under 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in automation, robotics integration, capital equipment / industrial machinery.
• Mechanical design and custom tooling / fixturing experience.
• Working knowledge of robotic applications and integration (welding, material handling, or similar).
• Proficiency with 3D CAD (SolidWorks, Inventor, or equivalent).
• Willingness to travel less than 20% for customer support, installation, and run-off.

Job description

• Mechanical aptitude and experience with mechanical design and custom tooling / fixturing.
• Working knowledge of robotic applications and integration (welding, material handling, or similar).
• Proficiency with 3D CAD (SolidWorks, Inventor, or equivalent).
• Willingness to travel less than 20% for customer support, installation, and run-off.

Preferred:

• Hands-on robot programming (FANUC, ABB, Motoman/Yaskawa, KUKA, or similar).
• Experience with welding automation and weld process knowledge.
• PLC and motion control / servo drive integration exposure.
• Familiarity with weldments and structural steel design.
