About the Opportunity

A growing automation and engineering firm is seeking a Robotics Engineer to support a rapidly expanding portfolio of manufacturing and industrial automation projects across North America.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of robotics and automation projects from concept and simulation through design, programming, commissioning, and client interaction. The team has recently secured several large-scale manufacturing projects and is looking for an engineer who wants to be involved in the full project lifecycle rather than being limited to a single area of responsibility.

The environment is collaborative, entrepreneurial, and hands‑on, giving engineers exposure to robotics, controls, automation, and advanced manufacturing technologies while working alongside experienced multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Responsibilities
  • Design, program, and integrate industrial robotic systems.
  • Develop and validate robotic simulations and offline programming solutions.
  • Support automation projects from concept development through commissioning and startup.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve robotic manufacturing processes.
  • Work directly with customers, vendors, and internal engineering teams throughout project execution.
  • Support greenfield and brownfield automation projects across a range of manufacturing environments.
  • Participate in factory acceptance testing, site commissioning, and startup activities.
  • Travel to customer sites as required for project support and implementation.
Qualifications

  • Experience with robotic simulation and offline programming tools.
  • Understanding of manufacturing automation, material handling, or production systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot robotic and automated systems independently.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact directly with clients.
Preferred Experience
  • ABB RobotStudio
  • PLC and industrial controls experience
  • SCADA or HMI systems exposure
  • Manufacturing, assembly, material handling, packaging, painting, or process automation applications
  • System integration or project engineering experience
  • Commissioning and startup support
Why Join?
  • Work on large-scale robotics and automation projects.
  • Exposure to the complete project lifecycle from design through commissioning.
  • Opportunity to work across multiple technologies rather than being pigeonholed into a single discipline.
  • Direct interaction with clients and company leadership.
  • Flexible, team-oriented culture with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Strong project pipeline and significant growth opportunities.
  • Competitive compensation, benefits, and overtime opportunities.
